Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
- Q: I am the parent of a student who is new to the district and I am wondering where my child will go to school?
- A: Please refer to the school boundaries and map page for help in this area. There you will find a printable map as well as a description of the area each school serves. In addition, if you have questions about open enrollment or an intra-district transfer, please contact the office of student services at 385-2552.
- Q: Whom do I call if I have a concern about an issue related to my child’s education?
- A: Please call the site principal first to see if they can address your concern. Many times the principal is in a position to resolve matters quickly and efficiently. You can find the names of the principals and their contact information here. If they are not able to help, they will put you in touch with someone at the district who can. If you have a complaint about an employee, please fill out the Uniform Complaint Form and return it to Kimberly Tresvant, Director of Human Resources.
- Q: Where would I find information about curricular programs in the district?
- A: If you are interested in course offerings for your student, first speak to a counselor at the site. If you have a question about district wide offerings, please contact William Dabbs, Assistant Superintendent of Educational Services. All curriculum, courses, and pacing calendars are located in Instructional Programs.
- Q: Where would I find information about the different schools in the district?
- A: Please refer to the Our Schools page for additional information related to each school in the district. In addition, it might be useful to review the School Accountability Report Cards.
