Computer Proficiency Graduation Requirements
If you are a student in OUHSD and looking for how you can prepare for the Computer Literacy Graduation Requirement, you have come to the right website! As you may know you can meet this Computer Literacy requirement by taking a CTE course that incorporates the neccessary skills. If for whatever reasons you have chosen to take the Computer Literacy Exam instead of taking an approved course this website will help you prepare for the exam.
For a student to receive certification of computer proficiency, the student must demonstrate that they have acquired the necessary skills pertaining to general computer operations, word processing, spreadsheets and PowerPoint Presentations. Go to the Computer Literacy Standards page to learn more.
Computer Access
Before students can use any school computer or access the Internet they must read and have their parent or guardian sign the OUHSD Student Technology Acceptable Use Policy. This Policy form is usually included in the packet your student received when enrolling for school. It must be returned to the school for school records.
You can access a number of websites for free training to help you prepare for the test. Check out the Links page to view more sites.
