ALEXA TAYLOR is our winner from Camarillo High School. Her GPA is 3.97 and SAT scores are also high. She plans to major in “environmental policy to find new solutions to the world’s most pressing issues so that future generations see earth as it was intended”. She has been accepted at U.C. Berkley. Her major interest is in science although she is proud that her life has been multifaceted. She has been an outstanding community service volunteer. ARIANA REYES is our winner from Rio Mesa High School. Ariana’s goal is to be a math teacher and work in public education. “I aim to start a foundation to help ethnic minority students”. She has a straight A – 4.0 GPA and has graduated in three years, with a college degree always in mind due to the high expectations she has set for herself. She will attend UCLA and get a PhD in math and a minor in political science. She has been on the Student Council and was a Varsity track and cross country runner. She sees herself as a humble person wo likes to lend a hand to help others.
