OUHSD/newsOxnard’s Ethan Lopez emerged as the singles winner at the Pacific View League Tennis Tournament on Wednesday at the Oxnard Tennis Center.
Lopez beat Camarillo’s Corey Karen 6-1, 7-6 (14-12) in the final. Lopez beat Peterson Sim of Pacifica, Westin Byerly of Camarillo and Justin Anderson of Camarillo to advance to the finals.
Camarillo was well-represented in doubles with the finals coming down to the combos of Joey Sander-Bret Meier and Justin Anderson-Byerly. Sander and Meier won a close match 7-6 (7-4) and 6-1 to win the title.
