Connecting to Wifi

In order to have the iPads download apps, the ipad has to be connected to a wifi source. To connect to wifi:

Step 1: Click on the settings button on the home page

Step 2: Click on Wi-Fi and Choose a Network

Step 1: Click on the SSID Wifi that you want to connect to and it will prompt you for a password or a webpage for username and password

Installing Apps

Step 1: Send an email with the exact name of the ipad app requested to helpdesk@ouhsd.k12.ca.us and also include your name and dept

Step 2: Then at the bottom click on "App Store”. The icon for the requested app should be in that list

Step 3: After clicking on the app, click on install instead of view in app store

Step 4: After clicking on the app, click on install instead of view in app store.

Step 5: A message will then pop up confirming the install. If the app is free, it will state that your itunes account won’t be charged. If it is a paid app, it will state that your itunes account will be charged. If you need vouchers to pay for the app, please contact Dalia Lopez-Rivera otherwise, click install.

Step 5: You will then have to enter in the username and password. The username is installapp@ouhsd.k12.ca.us and the password. Please use the password which was sent to you in an email

Step 5: It should then automatically exit back to main screen and it should display the app currently being installed.

Step 8: That's it! You're all done.
